We utilize two types of wheelchair transports vehicles. We have large, raised roof, full size vans with Braun hydraulic lifts that have room for multiple wheelchairs with additional attendant seating. Family members may ride along at no charge when desired. We also have Chrysler lowered floor, mini ramp vans. All our vehicles are cleaned daily, regularly maintained and safe.
Traditionally, wheelchair transport is done with one driver-attendant unless additional personnel are required for difficult loading or with addresses requiring transport over stairs. When arranging transport services please detail all your specific needs so we may serve you diligently and with appropriate staff and equipment.
We have "Ferno Stair Chairs" available for access to and from locations that require their use. A second attendant is required for this operation. Additional logistical equipment and oxygen is available when needed.
Our driver-attendants are trained and certified in safety first aid and CPR with additional certification in wheelchair securing and sensitivity training for wheelchair bound clients. All of our staff wears photo ID badges with their certifications listed, and standard company EMT uniforms. All of our staff are screened and certified to insure the highest level of professional personnel. We honestly care about your clients, you and your family members, their care, comfort and safety is our primary concern. |
